Day 1: Sankri to Juda ka Talab The trek begins with a drive from Sankri to the start point of the trek, which is around 10 km from Sankri. From there, trekkers walk through dense forests, with beautiful views of the Har Ki Dun valley. The first campsite is Juda ka Talab, a beautiful lake surrounded by tall pine trees.
Day 2: Juda ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp On day two, trekkers continue the trek to Kedarkantha base camp, which is around 4 km from Juda ka Talab. The trail offers stunning views of the Swargarohini and Bandarpoonch mountain ranges.
Day 3: Kedarkantha Base Camp to Kedarkantha Peak and back to Base Camp This is the most important day of the trek, as trekkers reach the summit of Kedarkantha peak. The trail is steep and challenging, but the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains make it worth the effort. Trekkers then descend back to the base camp.
Day 4: Kedarkantha Base Camp to Sankri The final day of the trek involves a descent back to Sankri, passing through beautiful meadows and forests.
